Job summary

Michelmores LLP in the Southwest seeks a Managing Associate to join the Banking & Finance team in a hybrid role, based in Bristol or Exeter. You will lead a range of finance transactions, coordinate multi-disciplinary teams and develop strong client relationships while mentoring junior lawyers.

The ideal candidate has extensive post-qualification experience in banking and finance, with sector expertise in real estate, development and international matters. Flexible working patterns are available.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years' post-qualification experience advising on banking and finance transactions.
• Proven track record in leading banking and finance deals and managing client relationships.
• Experience with real estate finance, acquisition finance, corporate lending, project finance and related matters.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a wide variety of banking and finance transactions.
• Draft, negotiate and advise on facility agreements, security documents and related docs.
• Advise lenders and borrowers on new lending, refinancings and restructurings.
