Job summary

Sanctuary Personnel is seeking a Band 6 CT Radiographer in Dumfries & Galloway, Scotland. You will operate Cannon Prime CT and Samsung imaging systems, delivering patient-centred imaging with precision and professional communication.

You will participate in an on-call rota and maintain high standards of radiation safety while contributing to a multidisciplinary imaging team. The role offers weekday hours with a stable locum structure.

Qualifications

• Degree in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent
• Current HCPC registration as a Radiographer
• CT imaging experience essential
• Willingness to participate in on-call service
• Experience operating CT and general radiography systems
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Teamwork in a multidisciplinary environment
• Strong knowledge of radiation safety and governance requirements

Responsibilities

• Operate Cannon Prime CT to produce high-quality images
• Perform general radiography exams across diverse patient caseload
• Deliver patient-centred imaging services with professional communication
• Carry out CT and general imaging procedures accurately and autonomously
• Participate in on-call rota to support urgent imaging needs
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinicians to aid diagnosis and treatment
• Ensure radiation safety protocols and best practices are followed
• Maintain imaging equipment for optimal performance and service continuity
• Pursue ongoing development to maintain clinical competencies
