Aalyria Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer to join the Spacetime UK team. You will contribute to core software, optimize distributed systems, and drive production-ready solutions for aerospace communications.

Hybrid remote/in-office arrangements are available for candidates who can work within the UK. You will design and implement scalable systems, lead technical initiatives, and collaborate with senior engineers on challenging projects across land, sea, air, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field.
• 7+ years of software development experience.
• Proficiency in Golang, C/C++, Rust, or Java.
• Demonstrated leadership in technical design and production launches.
• 3+ years of experience with large-scale distributed systems or networks.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, container orchestration, and distributed data systems.
• Experience with performance, large-scale data analysis, visualization tools, or debugging.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize core software on the Spacetime team.
• Design, implement, test, and maintain distributed systems.
• Lead project priorities, timelines and deliverables.
