Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a Senior Engineer II to join the Cloud Detection Engine (CDE) Platform. You will design, build, and scale foundational services that orchestrate data, content, and execution logic across CrowdStrike products, enabling real-time detection at internet scale.

You will lead backend engineering across CrowdStrike products, mentor teammates, and continuously improve architecture and performance in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience in distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of scalability, partitioning, and concurrency.
• Experience applying best engineering practices and code reviews.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Experience using AI technologies to enhance decision-making and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead backend engineering efforts from prototypes to large-scale applications across CrowdStrike products.
• Build cloud-based systems for global detection and threat intelligence production.
• Collaborate with multiple teams to define and implement platform features.
• Mentor peers and contribute to technical knowledge sharing.
• Continuously improve architecture, performance, and reliability of systems.
