Job summary

Synapri is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join our growing team on a permanent basis. You will take the lead on new projects from the earliest stages of research and planning through to architecture, development and final deployment.

Location: Hybrid in central London. Salary: up to £110,000 (DOE). You should have at least 5 years of experience with Python and Django, with a strong understanding of the full product development lifecycle and cloud technologies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience developing software with Python.
• Strong experience with Django and modern web application development.
• A good understanding of the full product development lifecycle, from discovery and planning through to deployment and ongoing improvement
• Strong software architecture and design skills, with an appreciation for writing clean, maintainable and scalable code
• Experience working across different layers of an application, with an interest in infrastructure and cloud technologies
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality software.
• A confident, positive communication style and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across different disciplines.
