Wise is a global technology company redefining how money moves and is managed. We are seeking a Backend Software Engineer to join the Personal & Business Pricing Team in London.

You will design and deliver end-to-end pricing features, contribute to architecture, and drive reliability and scale across pricing services. You will work with product teams to enable new features while ensuring pricing infrastructure remains robust and observable.

Qualifications

• Strong background in software engineering with track record on large projects in a complex production domain.
• Experience with Java or similar OOP language.
• Expert in your technical discipline with ability to design for long-term iteration and scale.

Responsibilities

• Design and build features end-to-end across our pricing services.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and code reviews, raising the bar on quality, reliability and observability.
• Drive initiatives to improve the reliability and scalability of our services, improving the pricing products' reliability and flexibility.
