Job summary

Gener8 Ads Limited is seeking an experienced backend engineer to work on the core technology powering our platform. You will extend and optimize data APIs ingesting vast event volumes and create new feeds for commercial partners.

Our stack includes Go, PostgreSQL, Redis, and Kubernetes on GCP, with GitHub CI/CD and Jira for task tracking. You’ll collaborate with the product and engineering teams to deliver features, write tests, and maintain reliable cloud infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 5+ years commercial experience building systems with Go.
• Experience writing RESTful APIs in production environments.
• Experience using SQL for data persistence.
• Experience documenting APIs with Swagger / Open API.
• Experience working with event driven systems.
• Experience building cloud native solutions.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build new features, modify existing ones and fix bugs.
• Write automated tests to maintain product quality.
• Ensure smooth operation of infrastructure through automated monitoring and alerting.
• Plan and execute upgrades of key infrastructure components.
• Collaborate with product team to refine new features and requirements.
