The role emphasizes Expedition with React, Node.js/Express, TypeScript, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Azure, while enabling AI-powered product decisions and a fast-moving startup culture.

Qualifications

• 6+ years building and maintaining large-scale software applications.
• Proficiency with core stack: React, Node.js, TypeScript.
• Experience with asynchronous message queue systems and MongoDB.

Responsibilities

• Scoping, designing, and implementing scalable backend solutions.
• Collaborate with engineers to deliver complex backend features and integrations.
• Maintain and enhance existing integrations, ensuring scalability for Motion’s growth.
• Identify and resolve errors, performance issues, and devex problems in the codebase.
• Drive engineering advancements.
