Job summary

Yapily is seeking a senior architect to shape our core backend architecture, guiding the team in AI-native workflows while ensuring scalable, secure systems.

You will lead design across services and APIs, translating complex requirements into robust, scalable solutions for Open Banking and PSD2, collaborating with product managers and stakeholders to deliver high-impact outcomes.

Qualifications

• Expert-level Java and Spring Framework experience.
• Proven track record in distributed systems and microservices.

Responsibilities

• Architect and oversee highly scalable, secure web applications, services, and APIs.
• Champion AI-native development workflows and integrate AI coding agents to improve developer velocity.
• Partner with Product Managers to shape the technical roadmap and translate complex requirements into scalable solutions.
• Define technical standards and lead robust code reviews and knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate with Support/CSM to troubleshoot and resolve critical customer issues.
• Deepen Open Banking and PSD2 expertise across APIs and platforms.

Requirements
