Job summary

Xcede is partnering with a fast-growing AI creator platform to hire a Product Engineer for Discovery, focusing on search, ranking, and feeds. The role is remote with CET overlap and Europe-based collaboration.

You will own backend systems in Go and Postgres while contributing to the React frontend, delivering fast, scalable discovery experiences and measurable improvements in content ranking and feeds.

Qualifications

• 4+ years on backend systems in Go or a similar typed language, with Postgres and production React.
• Search & ranking experience: relevance, embeddings, and cold start in production.
• Performance: indexing, caching, scalable data models.
• Measurement: quantify quality and outcomes, trust the relevant metric.
• AI-native: tooling and systems used daily, high-quality results.

Responsibilities

• Own search, ranking, feeds, and following creators with strong backend focus.
• Build the React side end-to-end for the discovery experience.
• Ensure fast, scalable performance as catalog grows.
• Measure impact and iterate on ranking and feed quality.
