Job summary

InfraView is seeking a Senior Azure Security Engineer to lead security design and implementation across Azure environments. You’ll work with Security Operations, Cloud Engineering and Architecture teams to strengthen controls and threat detection in a complex hybrid enterprise.

The role requires hands-on Azure security expertise, experience with Sentinel and Defender XDR, and the ability to automate security processes using PowerShell, Python and Logic Apps.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Azure security experience in a large enterprise.
• Strong Azure security services knowledge across IaaS, PaaS, hybrid.
• Experience with Entra ID: Conditional Access, PIM, Identity Protection.
• Experience with Sentinel and Defender XDR suites.
• Experience with Defender for Endpoint/Identity/Cloud/Office 365.
• Understanding of cloud/network security, Azure Firewall and NSGs.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME for Azure security, Sentinel, Defender XDR and related tech.
• Design, implement and support security controls across Azure environments.
• Engineer and optimise Sentinel: data connectors, analytics, queries, playbooks.
• Develop threat-detection use cases and security monitoring aligned to risk.
• Design secure cloud/hybrid patterns and provide engineering guidance.
• Develop telemetry with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, API integrations.
• Implement security automation using Logic Apps, Functions, REST APIs, PowerShell, Python.
