Job summary

Qualifications

• Hands-on Azure platform management in production.
• Strong knowledge of Azure compute, storage, networking, identity, governance, RBAC, and managed identities.
• Expert PowerShell automation skills.
• Experience with VM image management using Azure Image Builder, Packer, or Shared Image Gallery.
• Proven IaC experience with Bicep, Terraform, or ARM.
• Strong Azure networking and troubleshooting expertise.
• Experience implementing governance and compliance controls at scale.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

Rate: Inside IR35 £500.00 - £525.00 pd

We're seeking a Senior Azure Platform Engineer to take ownership of a large-scale Azure platform supporting critical digital services. This is a hands‑on role for an experienced Azure specialist who thrives on automation, cloud governance, and solving complex infrastructure challenges.

• Own and maintain the Azure platform, ensuring security, stability, and compliance.
• Manage VM image build and release processes, including patching, testing, and deployment.
