Job summary

Portfolio BI, Inc. is seeking a Senior Azure & Microsoft 365 Technical Architect to own the Azure platform and collaborate with external partners. You will secure operations, enhance IAM, disaster recovery, and monitoring across Azure and 365 environments, while driving on-going governance and cost controls.

The role emphasizes hands-on technical leadership, architecture validation, and proactive collaboration with stakeholders to deliver resilient, secure cloud solutions.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 administration and security.
• Experience in cloud architecture, engineering and production operations.
• Experience in financial-services cloud environments, including FinOps.
• Strong knowledge of Entra ID, Conditional Access, Azure RBAC, PIM, Key Vault.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Azure subscriptions, landing zones, networking, compute, databases, and 365 tenant config.
• Validate deployed infra against architecture and security requirements.
• Review identity and access governance, ensure least-privilege access.
• Oversee key vaults, secrets, rotation across platforms.
• Improve disaster recovery, backups, multi-region design, and runbooks.
• Improve service-health monitoring with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, KQL.
• Troubleshoot production issues and maintain runbooks.
• Maintain Terraform configurations and Azure DevOps pipelines; write PowerShell scripts.
• Apply Azure Policy and landing-zone guardrails; cost management & telemetry.
• Communicate risks and recommendations to stakeholders.
