Job summary

Canopius in London is seeking a hands-on Enterprise Solution Architect to lead the design of our cloud-native insurance platform. You will design and evolve Azure-based, microservices-driven solutions, mentor engineers, and collaborate with product managers and underwriters.

The role demands strong C#/.NET, Azure, API-first thinking, security awareness, and experience building scalable insurance applications.

Qualifications

Experience designing and building cloud-native insurance applications.
Strong understanding of microservices, API-first design, and event-driven systems.
Proficiency with C#, .NET Core, Azure services and data stores (SQL/NoSQL).
Security-conscious architecture and regulatory awareness in insurance.

Responsibilities

Design and evolve enterprise-grade solutions using Azure services and the C#/.NET stack.
Define and maintain architectural standards, patterns, and best practices.
Lead the design of microservices, APIs, and event-driven systems.
Provide hands-on coding support and technical mentorship to delivery teams.
Maintain target state architecture documentation and manage architectural risk.
Translate insurance business requirements into robust technical solutions.
