Job summary

NewDay is hiring a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to help design, build and support our Azure-based cloud platform. You will work across VM, storage, networking, Key Vaults, backup and DR, while driving security and reliability in our services.

You will apply IaC with Bicep, Terraform, Git and PowerShell, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to improve architecture, standards and documentation for operations and incident response.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Windows Server environments.
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale Azure IaaS and PaaS services.
• Experience using Infrastructure-as-Code and automation such as Bicep, Terraform, Git and PowerShell.
• Ability to work independently and with teams to maintain secure, compliant infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, deploy and support Azure infrastructure, including VMs, storage, networking, Key Vaults, backup and DR.
• Maintain secure and reliable infrastructure through vulnerability remediation, patching, platform maintenance and best practices.
• Investigate and resolve complex infrastructure challenges to improve resilience and availability.
• Collaborate across teams on projects, creating architecture standards and operational docs.
• Improve infrastructure through automation and standardisation, with on-call coverage.
