Job summary

FDM is seeking a Senior Azure Integration and Data Platform Developer for a major transformation programme in London. The role is hybrid, requiring 2 days per week in the London office, and bases in London.

You will design, build and support cloud-native data and API solutions on Azure, including Databricks, Functions, and APIM, delivering scalable, secure data flows and APIs. You will work with architects, product owners and engineering teams in Agile sprints, driving continuous improvement and

Qualifications

• Strong experience designing, building and supporting cloud-native data and API solutions on Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with Azure Databricks, Azure Functions, Azure API Management and RESTful APIs.
• Strong Python and SQL development skills.
• Experience building secure APIs with authentication, logging and governance controls.
• Experience modernising legacy integration platforms and CI/CD with Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies and sprint-based working.
• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data ingestion pipelines from internal and external sources into Azure Databricks.
• Develop RESTful APIs using Azure Functions (Python) and expose via APIM.
• Publish and manage APIs through Azure API Management with proper security policies.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and automate deployments.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners and engineering teams to align with enterprise standards.
