Job summary

Cloud Bridge is expanding its Professional Services team in the UK, delivering AWS-based migration, landing zone deployments, and secure cloud architectures for customers. You will work hands-on in a consultancy setting, shaping solutions and guiding customers through complex multi-account environments.

The role emphasizes migration-led delivery, pre-sales input, and close collaboration with Architects and Project Managers. UK-based with travel to client sites and offices as needed.

Qualifications

• Hands-on AWS engineering in a Professional Services or consultancy.
• Strong core AWS knowledge: EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, RDS, Lambda, CloudFront, CloudWatch.

Responsibilities

• Design AWS Landing Zones and multi-account environments.
• Lead and deliver enterprise migration and estate-separation programmes.
• Migrate databases to AWS (e.g., MS SQL Server to Amazon RDS).
• Design and implement AWS networking (Transit Gateway, VPN, hybrid connectivity).
• Support live migration waves and cutovers, including out-of-hours work.
• Contribute to Well-Architected Reviews, security hardening, DR enablement, and cost optimisation.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects and Project Managers to deliver within SOW scope.
• Produce clear technical documentation and handover material.
• Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge.
