Job summary

Opus Recruitment Solutions Ltd in Bristol is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS) on a hybrid contract. You’ll own AWS infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines for AI-enabled products, collaborating with engineering and product teams to ensure reliability, scalability and security.

Key requirements include hands-on AWS, Terraform IaC, CI/CD, RESTful APIs, and experience with .NET or JavaScript; the role is Outside IR35, 6-month initial, with an on-site/remote balance.

This senior role offers the opportunity to join a well-established Bristol-based technology business operating at scale. Take technical ownership of AWS infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines for AI-enabled products, working closely with engineering and product teams to ensure reliability, scalability, and security.

Key requirements:

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, including designing, deploying and managing scalable, secure infrastructure.
• Proven expertise with terraform (Infrastructure as Code) for provisioning, automating and maintaining cloud environments.
• Extensive experience building and optimising CI/CD pipelines, enabling automated build, test and deployment processes.
• Solid understanding of API development, integration and management, including RESTful services and microservice architectures.
• Commercial experience developing applications using .NET and/or JavaScript, with the ability to collaborate across engineering teams.
