Job summary

Expert Employment Limited is seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to enhance its AWS cloud infrastructure, security, and data platform. You will work closely with the CTO and software teams to secure access, manage permissions and optimize CI/CD pipelines.

You will lead infrastructure as code efforts, build data pipelines and monitor security incidents while driving improvements across engineering and product teams in a hybrid London-based role.

Qualifications

• Six years of experience in DevOps, SRE or Platform Engineering.
• At least three years of hands-on AWS production experience.
• Strong AWS security knowledge: IAM, KMS and incident response.

An innovative technology company is looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to manage and improve its AWS cloud infrastructure, security and data platform.

Working closely with the CTO and software team, you will be responsible for managing developer access and permissions, maintaining secure cloud environments, building data pipelines and improving CI CD processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code and CI CD pipelines.
• Manage developer access, permissions and system integrations.
• Build and maintain cloud-based data pipelines.
• Monitor security, investigate incidents and improve security processes.

Requirements

• Six years of experience in DevOps, SRE or Platform Engineering.
• At least Three years of hands-on experience with AWS in production.
• Strong experience with AWS CDK and GitHub Actions.
• Experience with Lambda, ECS and Fargate.
• Good knowledge of AWS security, IAM, KMS and incident response.
• Experience with data pipelines using Kinesis, Kafka or similar.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and some Python.
• Strong communication skills and ability to take technical ownership.
• Experience with AWS Bedrock or other LLM platforms.
• Hybrid working, minimum two days per week in a Central London office.
