Role Responsibilities

The role involves developing innovative cloud solutions, executing cloud migration projects, and assisting development teams with DevOps practices such as CI/CD pipelines and configuration management.

Key Objectives

1. Develop AWS platforms using Terraform and build CI/CD pipelines.
2. Implement AWS best practices.
3. Enhance Version 1’s reputation with clients.
4. Provide thought leadership leveraging your expertise.

Location and Travel

This role requires on-site presence 4 days a week at our Gloucestershire offices. Support for travel and accommodation costs can be discussed.

Qualifications

• Current Security Clearance (SC).
• Ability to work on-site in Gloucestershire 4 days a week.
• Experience as an AWS DevOps Engineer or similar roles such as Cloud Engineer or Platform Engineer working with AWS.
• Proficiency with DevOps tools like Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Jenkins, Kubernetes, and AWS CI/CD services.
• Experience with at least one programming language such as Python, NodeJS, Java, Ruby, or similar.
• Hands-on experience with Linux (RHEL, CentOS) and Bash scripting.
