Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Developer/Architect to join our team in Des Moines, Iowa. This individual will play a critical role in architecting and developing robust, scalable cloud-based solutions using AWS Glue and other AWS services. The ideal candidate should possess deep expertise in cloud architecture and data engineering, along with strong hands-on development skills.

Key Responsibilities:
Design and architect enterprise-grade solutions on AWS leveraging AWS Glue, Lambda, CDK, SQS, SNS, and AWS Batch.
Develop, test, and deploy scalable data pipelines and serverless applications using Python.
Create Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using AWS CDK to automate deployments.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand technical requirements and provide effective cloud-based solutions.
Optimize performance, reliability, and security across AWS cloud environments.
Provide leadership and mentoring to junior developers as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
12+ years of overall software development experience with a strong focus on cloud- architecture.
Expert-level knowledge in AWS Glue and Python.
Hands-on experience with AWS services including:
o Lambda (Serverless compute)
o CDK (Cloud Development Kit)
o SQS (Simple Queue Service)/SNS (Simple Notification Service)
o AWS Batch (Job orchestration and automation)
Solid understanding of data engineering, ETL processes, and building resilient data pipelines.
Proven experience in designing scalable and secure cloud solutions.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
