Job summary

SR2 | Socially Responsible Recruitment | Certified B Corporation is seeking an experienced SC Cleared AWS Cloud Architect for a remote-first, London-onsite contracted role. You will lead AWS platform architecture, enforce security controls and drive DevSecOps integration across CI/CD pipelines.

The role requires strong IAM expertise, Terraform IaC, and knowledge of Keycloak and CloudWatch. SC clearance and NPPV3 desirable for this senior position.

Qualifications

• Strong AWS cloud and security architecture experience.
• Experience designing secure, resilient enterprise cloud platforms.
• Excellent knowledge of identity and access management, including Microsoft Entra ID.
• Experience with privileged identity management, conditional access and access-control policies.
• Strong Infrastructure as Code experience, particularly Terraform.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and security automation within CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience designing cloud logging, monitoring and threat-detection capabilities.
• Ability to create architecture designs and communicate technical decisions clearly.
• SC (essential) & NPPV3 Clearance (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Provide architecture leadership across the AWS platform.
• Translate business needs into technical security requirements.
• Produce high-level designs and architecture decisions.
• Review designs, proposals and technical notes.
• Lead resolution of architecture and platform issues.
• Identify security weaknesses and technical debt.
• Design secure integration between Microsoft Entra ID and AWS.
• Develop access policies and privileged access controls.
• Improve resilience and availability of identity services (Keycloak, OTP).
• Embed automated security controls into Terraform and CI/CD pipelines.
• Design security monitoring using AWS and Microsoft tools.
• Support threat detection through centralized logging and alerts.
• Share knowledge with engineering teams.
