Job description

Job Description

Senior Aviation Operations Analyst (Nights, 4 on 4 off, 7pm-7am) £40,000 plus £4,000 Shift Allowance.

The main purpose of the role is to fulfill time-critical AOG demands from our airline clients while working with the Operations Specialist Team Leader and team to ensure the group meets operational performance targets (KPIs) and contractual obligations.

Person Specification:

  • Provide 360-degree feedback to the Operations Specialist Team Leader to suggest improvements and procedural changes that enhance operations.
  • Maintain excellent communication with customers throughout the order lifecycle, informing them of potential alternative solutions as needed.
  • Proactively engage with department managers to ensure the implementation of contractual requirements, guaranteeing customer satisfaction and contract performance.
  • Identify potential problems and risks early, evaluate implications, and develop contingency and recovery plans proactively with all concerned parties.
  • Explore potential market sources for new suppliers to improve effectiveness, increase profitability, or expand operational activities if advantageous.
  • Establish and maintain high-quality service standards for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure high standards of customer service by handling interactions promptly and professionally, fostering a customer-centric culture within the team.
  • Oversee and participate in training and onboarding of new staff to ensure smooth integration and understanding of operational procedures.
  • Promote an environment that values business continuity and productivity through face-to-face interactions where applicable.
  • Perform additional duties as required by business needs, consistent with the level of responsibility.

Note: Due to the night shift nature of this role, candidates must have previous experience in the aviation industry, preferably dealing with high-pressure, time-sensitive customer needs (such as AOG). They should also possess the ability to make informed decisions independently, as management will not be available during working hours.
