About The Role:

Our client, a prestigious and forward-thinking architecture practice based in the vibrant heart of the city, is seeking a talented and driven Senior Aviation Associate to join their dynamic team. Renowned for delivering showstopping designs across the UK and internationally, the practice offers a naturally lit, collaborative workspace where creativity thrives.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in aviation and masterplanning projects, particularly in the Middle East. In this role, you will lead projects from concept through to completion, mentor junior team members and play a key role in shaping innovative and functional airport environments that meet both current needs and future demands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate large-scale aviation projects from concept through to completion, ensuring adherence to quality, budget, and timeline expectations
  • Collaborate with internal teams, clients, consultants and regulatory authorities to ensure project success
  • Oversee and guide junior architects and support staff, promoting high standards of design and technical excellence
  • Ensure designs comply with aviation regulations, safety requirements, and sustainability goals
  • Present design concepts and solutions to clients and stakeholders with clarity and confidence
  • Support business development activities including proposals, bids, and client presentations
  • Stay current with industry trends, materials, technologies, and regulatory updates relevant to aviation architecture

Key Skills/Requirements:

  • Degree in Architecture and ARB registration
  • Extensive experience within the aviation and masterplanning sector is essential
  • Proven track record of delivering major airport projects at national or international level
  • Excellent leadership, team coordination, and communication skills
  • Strong proficiency in Revit, Rhino, and AutoCAD is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships and multidisciplinary design teams
  • A commitment to sustainable and innovative design approaches
