NatWest Group is seeking a Principle Engineer to design, build, test and implement sophisticated software across the lifecycle. You will work within a feature team, owning end-to-end delivery and collaborating with engineers, architects and analysts to ensure robust, secure solutions.

The role requires hands-on Avaloq scripting and deep knowledge of the securities trading lifecycle, with a track record leading delivery in a Core Banking/Wealth environment.

Qualifications

• This role requires a strong software engineering and architecture background with end-to-end ownership.
• Experience with Avaloq scripting and related modules (Report Writer, Workflows, Validations).
• Hands-on development within a securities trading/Core Banking environment.

Responsabilités

• Engineer and maintain innovative, high‑performance software across the lifecycle.
• Work in a feature team with engineers, architects and business analysts.
• Produce complex code rapidly, with quality and value to the business.
• Lead end-to-end delivery and coordinate with testers and users.
• Support migration programmes and be familiar with trade lifecycle concepts.
