Job summary

Convene is seeking a Senior AV Operations Specialist to join our London team. The role delivers AV/IT services for corporate meetings and events, working closely with property and event teams to ensure exemplary client experiences.

We value strong hospitality-oriented service, AV equipment expertise, and collaboration across departments. The position is full-time, based in Central London, with opportunities for discretionary bonus and growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• 4-5 years of experience in supporting AV and IT equipment and computer software systems
• Customer service or hospitality experience preferred
• Demonstrate knowledge of audiovisual equipment including analog/digital audio mixers, wireless mic systems, and projectors/display
• Basic understanding of Crestron and other central control systems
• Basic knowledge of data networking principles, architecture, and applications
• Experience with Macs, PCs, LANs, and servers; proficient with Microsoft Office, Google workspace, and Apple iWorks

Responsibilities

• Lead ad-hoc troubleshooting and assistance to customers of all technology levels
• Troubleshoot AV equipment including audio, video, lighting, and networking
• Lead pre-program coordination with property teams and AV Operations Manager
• Provide anticipatory customer service and build relationships with clients and vendors
• Audit tech quotes and attend pre-event meetings
• Supervise daily floor operations and room teams
• Collaborate with Production and technology teams to ensure client experience
• Assist in daily operations and SOP updates
