Job summary

Jacobs Massey Ltd in Central London seeks an experienced AV Sales Manager to drive revenue for prestigious events and conferences. You will develop tailored AV proposals, win new business and deliver solutions across live productions, hybrid events and meetings.

Working with technical, operational and commercial teams, you will translate client briefs into commercially compelling quotes, manage relationships with organisers and agencies, and ensure delivery to spec and high standards of service.

Qualifications

• Experience in AV sales for conferences, venues or live events.
• Proven track record of selling AV equipment, packages and services.
• Strong technical understanding of audio, video, lighting, staging and presentation systems.
• Experience supporting large-scale conferences, corporate events and hybrids.
• Ability to interpret client briefs and develop competitive technical proposals.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship management skills.
• Experience preparing quotations, managing budgets and revenue targets.
• Knowledge of video conferencing platforms, live streaming and digital signage.
• Understanding of AV control systems and networked AV technologies.
• Strong organisational skills for multiple projects.
• Experience supervising technical teams is a plus.
• Flexible hours for event schedules.

Responsibilities

• Drive AV sales revenue and achieve commercial targets.
• Develop and present tailored AV solutions for events and live productions.
• Manage client enquiries, site visits and prepare quotations.
• Upsell AV equipment and production services.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, organisers and agencies.
• Coordinate technical requirements for hybrid events and live streaming.
• Collaborate with internal technical and events teams to meet specs.
• Coordinate external equipment hire and production suppliers.
• Support event branding, staging and technical installations.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity for growth opportunities.
• Maintain high levels of customer service throughout the process.
• Assist departmental management with resource planning and improvements.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
