Zebrec is delighted to offer this role as Senior AV Service Engineer working for our client, a reputable & leading provider of professional services in Audio Visual Systems Integration.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior AV Service Engineer to join a fast-growing technology company. Our client is the UK's leading provider of Audio Visual and Video Conferencing solutions and is expanding rapidly overseas, developing market-leading innovations.

The Senior AV Service Engineer will be responsible for providing preventative maintenance and reactive support for audio visual and videoconferencing systems to corporate clients. Clients are mainly based in the City of London and South East England, with travel throughout the UK and Europe potentially required.

Role, Responsibilities & Skills for the Senior AV Service Engineer

As part of your role, you will be responsible for:

  • Faultfinding audio visual and video conferencing systems under pressure
  • Preventative maintenance of client-owned equipment
  • Knowledge of AMX/Crestron control systems
  • Configuration and fault finding of audio conferencing systems such as ClearOne or SoundStructure
  • Networking knowledge to troubleshoot IP integrated systems
  • Supporting TV/Satellite RF and Video systems
  • Completing paperwork and comprehensive reports for each job
  • Communicating faults clearly to clients
  • Maintaining an enthusiastic and organized approach to all service activities

Successful candidates will have:

  • At least 2 years of supporting corporate AV systems in a service environment
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • The ability to work under pressure
  • Good all-round technical knowledge
  • Team player attitude
  • Manual handling skills for equipment movement when necessary
