Job summary

Multimatic Electronic Systems in Cambridge is seeking a Senior Electronics Hardware Engineer to develop ISO 26262 compliant automotive electronics. You will work across Cambridge (UK) and Toronto, contributing from concept through end-of-life support.

The role requires hardware design with embedded grounding, product manufacture experience, and the ability to meet deadlines while communicating across teams.

Responsibilities

• Support architectural development of electronic systems
• Requirements capture for electronics hardware
• Detailed schematic capture
• Design analysis using SPICE simulations and DFMEA/WCCA
• Create PCB layout guidelines
• Commissioning, verification and environmental/EMC testing
• Document designs to standards
• Collaborate with manufacturing divisions and external partners
• Ownership of designs and problem solving
