Using the client applications, creators can build and publish spatial experiences that are as interconnected and accessible as the web pages of today. This innovative platform ensures seamless experiences across multiple technologies, allowing users to navigate through diverse digital and physical spaces without the barriers of switching identities, devices, or interfaces.

As a Senior Automation Tester, you’ll collaborate closely with our QA Leads to create automation tests for our OKO product and client projects. You’ll be responsible for creating and executing automated test scripts across web, iOS, and desktop client applications, helping to streamline our testing processes and improve product quality. Your work will play a key role in increasing test coverage, reducing manual effort, and ensuring the reliability of the immersive experiences we deliver.

Responsibilities
  • Tool Selection and Setup: Research, identify and evaluate suitable automation tools and frameworks, and configure them to integrate smoothly with our existing development and QA processes.
  • Test Automation Development: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile iOS, and desktop applications. Ensure scripts are robust, reusable, and maintainable, and manage test data needed for consistent, repeatable test execution.
  • Test Strategy and Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define the automation testing strategy, including test coverage, test data management, and execution plans.
  • Automation Opportunities: Identify and support opportunities to introduce or expand automation within QA processes.
  • Execution and Reporting: Execute automated test cases, analyse results, and report defects clearly and concisely. Work closely with developers to ensure timely issue resolution. Contribute to release cycles with testing reports across different environments.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve the testing lifecycle. Stay current with trends and advancements in automation testing and integrate best practices into team workflows.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for automation frameworks, test cases, and testing processes to support knowledge sharing and continuity.
  • Mentorship: Provide guidance, support, and knowledge sharing to QA team members, fostering adoption of automation practices and tools.
Requirements

  • Proficiency in automation testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, TestComplete, or similar.
  • Programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and version control systems
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
  • Knowledge of mobile testing frameworks and tools for iOS applications.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
Nice to haves
  • Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based testing environments and services.
  • Exposure to VR/AR or immersive technologies, or interest in working in this space.
