Your future duties and responsibilities:

Are you passionate about Automation Testing and eager to make an impact in an agile development environment? We’re looking for a skilled Senior Automation Tester to join one of our dynamic software development teams, ensuring top-notch software quality through comprehensive testing. This full-time role is based on-site at Corsham.

Test Planning and Design:
•Collaborate with the team to understand project requirements and create comprehensive test plans.
•Design and develop automated test scripts and frameworks for functional, regression, and performance testing.

Test Automation:
•Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts.
•Integrate automated tests with continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.

Test Execution and Reporting:
•Execute automated test scripts and analyze test results to identify defects and ensure software quality.
•Document and report defects, providing detailed steps to reproduce and tracking them to resolution.

Test Artefacts Production:
•Produce and maintain high-quality test artefacts, including test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test data.
•Ensure all test artefacts are well-documented, version-controlled, and easily accessible for the QA team and other stakeholders.

Test Maintenance:
•Update and maintain automated test scripts to reflect changes in the application.
•Ensure the automation test suite is robust and scalable.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

What We’re Looking For:

•Proficiency with automation methodologies, such as Infrastructure as Code (IaC), with experience in tools like Ansible or Terraform.
•Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab).
•Strong software development skills (e.g., Java, C#) and an understanding of software development best practices.
•Ability to identify, analyze, and devise solutions to business and technical IT problems.
•Skilled in problem analysis, root cause detection, and issue resolution using the latest quality improvement tools and techniques.

Desired Skills:
•Expertise in working within Agile teams delivering projects and solutions.
•Experience with VMware Cloud Foundation and Aria Suite.
