Tria is seeking a Senior Automation & Integration Engineer for a 3-month contract with a strong likelihood of lengthy extensions. The role is Outside IR35 and offers £500–£600 per day, hybrid work with 1 day per week in the Surrey office.

You will shape and scale enterprise AI and automation capabilities, combining architecture, delivery, and mentoring to build AI-powered workflows and robust integrations.

Senior Automation & Integration Engineer

We're seeking a Senior Automation & Integration Engineer to help shape and scale enterprise AI and automation capabilities within a growing organisation. You'll combine technical architecture, hands‑on delivery, and mentoring to build AI‑powered workflows, integrate business systems, and establish best practices for future growth.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver enterprise-grade AI and automation solutions.


• Build integrations using APIs, webhooks, and modern automation platforms.


• Define automation architecture, deployment standards, and governance.


• Work across technologies including Microsoft Power Automate, Copilot, Snowflake, Python, and n8n.


• Mentor existing automation specialists and raise technical capability across the team.

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience delivering AI-powered workflows and agentic solutions in production.


• Strong automation platform experience (Power Automate, n8n, Workato, Make or similar).


• Expertise in systems integration, APIs, OAuth and workflow orchestration.


• Experience designing scalable automation architecture.


• Strong stakeholder engagement and technical leadership skills.

The client is open to some flexibility around prior experience, provided applicants can demonstrate strength across the majority of the key requirements.
