Job description

Role: Senior Automation Engineer (SME)

Location: Remote (Occasionally need to travel to Bromley or London)

Duration: 12 Months

Experience and Skills required:

• Good knowledge of Test Automation Frameworks like Data-Driven, BDD, and hybrid frameworks
• SQL and Unix knowledge
• Experience as a QA Engineer with Selenium TypeScript framework
• Comprehensive understanding of automation systems and databases
• Basic scripting knowledge and familiarity with related procedures
• Understanding of testing protocols
• Knowledge of different testing methods such as white box and black box testing
• Familiarity with the software development process
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

Responsibilities:

• Planning and prioritizing testing activities
• Identifying weaknesses and problem areas in the software
• Designing and executing automated QA tests and regression tests
• Suggesting and implementing automated testing procedures
• Tracking bugs and investigating causes
• Creating test plans and detailed reports
• Reviewing technical specifications and design documents
• Conducting regression testing as needed
• Monitoring testing metrics and process results
