Shift Pattern/Working Hours: Standard working hours with on-call duties in rotation and flexibility for out-of-hours support.

Key Responsibilities

• Upgrade outdated automation equipment to enhance operational efficiency.
  
• Develop automation specifications and functional analyses for industrial projects.
  
• Manage contractors and engineers during project execution.
  
• Provide automation expertise to support the engineering team.
  
• Monitor and maintain site automation systems.
  
• Participate in on-call duties on a rotational basis.
  

The Person/Qualifications

• Subject matter expertise in automation systems.
  
• Proficient in working with Schneider or Rockwell equipment.
  
• Experienced in managing automation projects.
  
• Knowledge of programming SCADA systems, ideally WONDERWARE.
  
• Supervisory experience in leading teams or contractors.
  
• Familiarity with the food industry is advantageous.
  
• Strong fault-finding and root cause analysis skills.
  
• Understanding of Health & Safety and relevant legislation.
  
• Confident in autonomous decision-making and effective team collaboration.
  
• Self-motivated, results-driven, and open to learning new technologies.
  
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
  
• Proficient in numeracy, literacy, and logical problem-solving.
