Job summary

A leading company is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer to spearhead the design and implementation of industrial control systems in Glasgow. The role requires expertise in control systems and offers a hybrid work flexibility, allowing for 3 days on-site and 2 remote days.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in control systems design (PLC, SCADA).
• Experience in a GMP environment preferred but not essential.
• Control system experience ideally with Siemens products.

Job Title: Senior Automation Engineer

Role Type: Permanent, Full Time

Location: Glasgow

Flexibility: Hybrid (3 days on-site, 2 remote)

The Senior Automation Engineer you will be responsible for leading the design, development and implementation of industrial control systems, from concept to commissioning. In addition, you will provide troubleshoot and lead improvements to existing systems to ensure they function reliability and effectively.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience with the design and development of control systems e.g. PLC, SCADA, DCS, MES, etc.
• Ideally person would be from a GMP environment (e.g. Pharma, Food, FMCG, Chem, etc.), but not essential
• Control System experience is ideally with Siemens products
