Job description

Senior AutoCAD Technician required for a well-established manufacturer of enclosures and facades based in the Hertford area. In support ongoing growth they are seeking an enthusiastic Senior CAD Technician to produce designs for projects with the use of AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing enclosures and facades with the use of 2D CAD, including installation, manufacturing and general arrangement drawings
• Travelling to customer sites to carry out site surveys throughout the UK and occasionally across Europe
• Participating in design meetings, both at customer sites and via video platforms
• Producing designs for installation purposes
• Coordinating design requirements with customers and suppliers

Qualifications

• Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD
• Proven background in within a structural steel, facades, curtain walling industry or similar
• Knowledge of Inventor and / or Revit is desirable
• Full UK Driving License with a willingness to travel for work occasionally

Salary & Benefits

• Salary £40,000 - £60,000 depending on experience
• 33 days holiday, including bank holidays
• Private Health Insurance, following the qualifying period

• Monday to Friday, full-time, permanent position
