A healthcare organization in the UK is seeking a Senior Autism Assessor to conduct autism assessments remotely for children and young people. Position: Full-time preferred, part-time (minimum 3 days/week). Location: Fully remote within the UK. Reporting to: Autism Service Team Manager.
We aim to provide families with high-quality NHS neurodevelopmental assessments within 4 weeks of GP referral. Our autism assessments for children and young people launched in November 2024, with ADHD assessments and treatments starting in early 2026. We are driven by a mission to reduce waiting times that currently extend from 2 to 10 years, as highlighted by the Children's Commissioner for England.
You will be part of our multidisciplinary team delivering:
Opportunities exist to focus on delivering direct care and taking on additional responsibilities such as supporting complex cases, quality assurance, training, and pathway development, with reduced case volume to allow focus.

Required: Professional registration (HCPC, NMC, GMC, or Social Work England); at least 4 years in autism assessments; completion of recognized ADOS-2 course; good communication skills; enhanced DBS.
Desirable: Training in autism developmental histories (e.g., ADI-R), experience with risk assessments, ADHD assessments, safeguarding training.
