Job Description:

JLL is recruiting a Senior Authorising Persons - High Voltage (HV) to work across our UK Rolls-Royce contract sites. You will manage high voltage networks – 33KV, 11KV, and 6.6KV. As the Senior Authorising Person (SAP), you'll be a subject matter expert for high voltage, delivering asset management, planned and reactive maintenance across UK sites. Responsibilities include ensuring adherence to KPIs, developing supply chain and self-delivery capabilities, and maintaining client communications and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate, isolate, discharge, prove dead systems and equipment within the limits specified on the SAP Certificate of Appointment.
• Identify safety hazards and specify control measures based on activity inspections and method statements.
• Monitor and manage routine and reactive maintenance for HV and LV infrastructure, ensuring timely completion of remedial tasks.
• Support implementation of electrical safety policies, processes, and guidance.
• Audit engineers' work and compliance with statutory regulations and best practices.
• Advise procurement on contractor standards for electrical engineering.
• Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
• Assess and ensure the competence of authorized and skilled persons in electrical systems.
• Maintain records, schedules, and schematic drawings related to systems under responsibility.
• Monitor electrical risks and develop mitigation business cases.
• Advise on maintenance standards and communicate regulatory updates.
• Act as company principal duty holder for NIC EIC.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven experience managing HV & LV networks in industrial properties.
• Relevant professional, technical, or management qualifications or experience.
• Leadership experience with effective team management skills.
• Strong technical knowledge of M&E, building services, and industry best practices.
• Experience in QHSE/Risk management.
• Excellent communication and people management skills.
• Understanding of relevant legislation.
• Innovative, continuous improvement mindset.
• Ability to represent JLL effectively at meetings.
• Passion for JLL and Rolls-Royce brands.
