Location: Any anchor building (to be agreed post award)

Salary: £33,366 - £34,314

Positions available: 2 full-time positions and 1 part-time position (0.8 FTE)

Contract: Permanent

About this opportunity

We are recruiting for Senior Auditor vacancies at Cumberland Council, where you will support us in providing independent assurances on the effectiveness of our Governance, Risk Management, and Internal Control systems through risk-based assurance reviews. The role involves research, audit testing, documentation of working papers, and preparing audit reports. Relevant experience is beneficial, but we also welcome applications from individuals with transferable skills and the right characteristics, such as independence and professionalism. The roles are permanent, and we are open to full-time, part-time, and job share arrangements.
