Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in internal audit and CIA qualification or equivalent.
• Self‑motivated, organised and able to manage multiple priorities while working independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver assurance and consultancy audits across council services; contribute to risk management, counter fraud and special projects.
• As Senior Auditor, review colleagues0work and support delivery of annual audit plans.
• Communicate findings clearly to officers and elected Members to drive improvement.
