Team/Role Overview

The Senior Auditor is an intermediate role responsible for performing moderately complex audits and assessments of Citi’s risk and control environments in coordination with the Audit team. The overall objective is to utilize in-depth subject matter expertise to contribute to the development of new techniques and processes for IA Markets to help Citi reach its business goals.

What you will do

• Perform audits, draft reports, present issues, and discuss practical solutions with the business
• Complete audits within budgeted timeframes and costs
• Monitor, assess, and recommend solutions to emerging risks
• Contribute to audit process improvements, including automation
• Apply internal audit standards, policies, and regulations to ensure timely assurance and influence scope
• Develop strong relationships with management to understand the business
• Operate independently with limited supervision
• Exercise judgment and act as SME to stakeholders and team members
• Assess risks in business decisions, ensuring compliance, ethical conduct, and transparency in control issues

What we will need from you

• Experience in Internal Audit or External Audit
• Knowledge of client asset regulations preferred
• Subject matter expertise in audit technologies
• Strong communication, negotiation, influencing, and relationship management skills
• Ability to work unbiased in diverse environments

Education

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
