Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of financial audit experience (Big 4 or leading mid-tier firms preferred).
• ACA (ICAEW), ACCA, or equivalent chartered accountancy qualification.
• Strong interest in audit methodology and turning standards into reproducible logic.
• Tech-first mindset with curiosity for AI and innovation in audit processes.
• Ability to sketch decision trees and define structured, unambiguous outputs; comfortable with prompts.
• No programming background required; think in processes and system logic, work with engineers.
• Strong grasp of ISA (UK), UK GAAP (FRS 102), IFRS, and the Companies Act 2006.
• Native English; German is a plus.
• Right to work in the UK; no visa sponsorship offered.

Responsibilities

• Product Shaping: participate in reviews and design sessions; provide feedback on prototypes and help prioritise the roadmap.
• Methodology to Logic: translate ISA UK and international standards into actionable logic for the platform.
• Prompt Engineering: write, test, and refine prompts and decision logic for AI audit workflows.
• Documentation Quality: ensure ISA compliance and that outputs meet internal/external quality controls.
• Independence & Ethics: safeguard auditor independence and ethics compliance.
• Berlin Collaboration: travel regularly to the Berlin hub to work with the team.
