A local council in Scotland is seeking an Internal Audit professional to enhance audit services while supporting community objectives. This permanent full-time position offers a salary between £47,848 and £52,325 annually with a mobile workstyle, allowing for flexibility between home and office work. Effectively deliver a range of functions within the Internal Audit Section of East Ayrshire Council by supporting the provision and continuing development of a quality Internal Audit Service to all clients. Assist with the promotion, delivery, and integration of key objectives in relation to Internal Audit Plans and the Community Plan.

This is a permanent full-time position based at Council Headquarters, London Road, Kilmarnock. The working hours are 35 per week, Monday to Thursday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, and Friday, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm.
The salary range is £47,848 - £52,325 annually.
The workstyle is 'Mobile' – 20-49% of the time working in an office or other location. Employees will work at their administrative base or another agreed location 1 to 2.5 days per week, with the remainder working from home or other locations as required.
All office-based employees (excluding those in schools) are expected to spend the higher end of their workstyle in the office or designated work locations.
