Job summary

Sellick Partnership is supporting a key public sector client to recruit a Senior Audit Officer on a permanent basis. The role sits in an experienced Audit team delivering an assurance programme addressing provider data risks and other key operations.

You will work with higher education providers to assess data collection and data accuracy, design and implement audit programmes, and lead and oversee audits across England with regular travel and some overnight stays.

Qualifications

• Proven background of working as an Internal Auditor, in particular leading on Audits.
• Experience of leading Audits within the Higher education sector or wider public sector is desired.
• Strong numerical and data skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience of creating Audit programmes.

Responsibilities

• Lead audits and reviews to assess data accuracy and effectiveness of systems.
• Direct and oversee colleagues working on the audit.
• Collaborate with provider staff and act as primary contact, including face-to-face meetings.
• Report findings to providers and internal colleagues.
• Travel across England, with some overnight stays.
