Our client, a leading firm based in Surrey, is seeking a Senior Audit Manager to join their growing team. This role offers the opportunity to work with high-profile clients across various dynamic sectors.

About the Role:

As a Senior Audit Manager, you will hold a key leadership position within the audit team. Your responsibilities will include managing a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring high-quality audit services, and fostering strong relationships with stakeholders. You will also contribute to ad-hoc projects, working closely with partners and clients on complex assignments.

Responsibilities:
  1. Leading and managing audits from planning to completion across various industries.
  2. Managing and coaching junior staff, supporting their professional development.
  3. Maintaining and developing client relationships, acting as the primary contact.
  4. Identifying and pursuing business development opportunities.
  5. Reviewing financial statements for compliance with UK GAAP and IFRS.
  6. Overseeing ad hoc projects, providing strategic insights into clients’ financial and operational challenges.
What You'll Bring:
  1. ACA/ACCA (or equivalent) qualification with substantial audit experience, preferably within a mid-tier or top 40 firm.
  2. Proven experience managing audits, teams, and client relationships.
  3. Deep knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS, and audit regulations.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with senior stakeholders and managing multiple projects.
  5. Enthusiasm for developing junior team members.
  6. A passion for working across industries including motorsport, retail, technology, property development, and financial services.
