This role is pivotal in ensuring high-quality audit delivery, customer satisfaction, and cost optimization. You will manage a dedicated team, oversee audit resources, and drive operational strategy to meet defined KPIs and targets. Responsibilities

Including, but not limited to:

  • Lead auditing and scheduling services for Restaurant, Food Service & Hospitality within EMEA, ensuring delivery of operational and financial KPIs in line with the annual plan.
  • Direct and manage audit strategy to ensure high-quality delivery, customer satisfaction, and cost optimization, while developing a management team to oversee audits.
  • Manage full-time, contract, and ASP audit resources, ensuring integrity through onboarding, training, and offboarding, and optimize audit delivery utilization to achieve 80% for full-time auditors.
  • Create and maintain annual operating plans and budgets, leading scheduling resources for on-time and in-full (OTIF) service delivery.
  • Utilize the audit delivery team to identify new customer needs and manage forecasts and budgets.
  • Coordinate and schedule audits to meet service KPIs, ensuring adequate resources to meet client expectations.
  • Support new business acquisition through sales activity leadership, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Operate within company authorization levels and health & safety procedures, with flexibility for working across time zones and international travel.
  • Oversee a diverse team, including direct and indirect reports.

Qualifications

  • Degree or equivalent in Food Industry or relevant sector.
  • Practical knowledge of food safety in UK/Europe and auditing compliance requirements.
  • Previous auditing experience.
  • Proven operational leadership experience.
  • Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
  • Keen eye for detail and problem-solving.
  • Ability to motivate and influence peers.
  • Knowledge of Food Safety Practices and Quality Schemes (advantageous but not essential).
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen (advantageous but not essential).
  • Experience working in a matrix organization with high collaboration (advantageous but not essential).
  • Within a commutable distance of an NSF office (advantageous but not essential).
