About the Role
Senior Audit Managers are integral to the leadership of the Agency and have a role beyond delivery of audit services to support the ongoing development of our services, people and client approach.

About You
All candidates will need to demonstrate full current membership of recognised professional accountancy/audit body.
We are seeking an experienced professional to lead and manage a risk-based Internal Audit assurance programme, showcasing sound judgement and adaptability in dynamic environments. The ideal candidate will deliver audit plans on time, within budget, and to high standards, while effectively managing team performance and addressing skills and resource gaps. Strong relationship-building skills are essential, as you will engage with senior management and the Audit and Risk Committee to ensure our services meet professional standards and client needs. You will collaborate with other assurance providers to maximise value and minimise overlap, and influence senior stakeholders to enhance governance, risk management, and internal controls. Resilience, tact, and negotiation skills are crucial for overcoming challenges, along with demonstrating effective leadership within the team and organisation.

Hybrid Working
Hybrid Working is available to GIAA colleagues. This means a combination of office working and working from home. This includes time spent in our GIAA office locations and can also include any time spent attending our customers' sites.
GIAA has an expectation for all colleagues to attend their local workplace regularly and to attend client sites for key meetings and when undertaking fieldwork.
