About the Role

Are you a motivated Audit Manager looking to progress to Senior Manager or an established Senior Manager seeking an exciting new challenge? Join us in our new Birmingham office and help shape the future of our Audit team in the West-Midlands.

Having recently launched our Birmingham office; we are now looking to recruit a Senior Audit Manager to join our rapidly expanding team.

We work with a broad portfolio of corporate clients, ranging from owner-managed businesses and SMEs to larger corporations. In this role, you will be delivering high-quality audit services and providing your clients with advice and management information to support their growth and development.

This role will suit an experienced Audit Manager who aspires to take the next step in their career at an exciting time for the firm they’d be joining or an established Senior Manager seeking a new challenge and opportunity to be involved in shaping an Audit offering with an established firm in a new location. You will be encouraged to share ideas and play a key role in building our Birmingham-based Audit team.

Responsibilities will include:
  • Leading, planning, and delivering a broad range of Corporate external audit engagements.
  • Coaching and developing our trainees into becoming accomplished business advisors.
  • Monitoring budgets and agreeing fees for each assignment.
  • Managing client relationships and expectations.
  • Contributing to business development activities in the Birmingham corporate marketplace.

About You

To be considered for the role, you will have:
  • ACA/ACCA Qualification (or equivalent).
  • Experience of managing a broad portfolio of audit clients.
  • Great People Management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills that enable you to build rapport with people at all levels.
  • A strong desire to contribute to the overall success of Bishop Fleming’s Birmingham office.
  • Able to access transport and have a full driving license.
