Job summary

Get Recruited is partnering with an established and growing accountancy practice to appoint an experienced Audit Senior. You will take ownership of assignments, support junior colleagues and build relationships with a varied client portfolio.

Working with Audit Managers and Responsible Individuals, you will lead engagements from planning through completion, with exposure to broad client bases, ongoing development and clear progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA or ACCA (or part-qualified/finalist) with UK practice audit experience.
• Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and FRS 102; familiarity with ISA.
• Proven ability to lead audits from planning through completion and review junior work.

Responsibilities

• Lead audit engagements from planning to completion.
• Develop understanding of clients' business and control environment.
• Assist with audit plans and identify key risks.
• Prepare audit working papers per standards; review junior work.
• Communicate findings to client finance teams and senior stakeholders.
• Contribute to statutory accounts under UK GAAP/FRS 102 and related tax work.
