Brewer Morris is recruiting for a newly qualified Audit Senior or Assistant Manager to join a Top 20 UK accountancy and advisory firm in Cardiff. You will lead audits across owner-managed and international client portfolios, ensuring high-quality delivery and mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• ACA/CA/ACCA qualified or recently qualified.
• Proven external audit experience in a UK accountancy practice.
• Strong knowledge of UK GAAP, FRS 102 and UK auditing standards.
• Experience managing audits and supervising junior staff.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Commercial awareness and client-focused approach.

Responsabilités

• Lead audit assignments from planning to completion for diverse clients.
• Prepare and review audit working papers per UK standards.
• Manage on-site audit teams and coordinate deadlines.
• Review statutory accounts under UK GAAP and FRS 102.
• Identify audit findings, risks and recommendations to management and clients.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships as trusted contact.
• Mentor and develop trainees and junior staff.
• Support budgeting, resourcing and engagement management.
